Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi received Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for Bahrain Sports Day, Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, and reviewed preparations for the national sport event. 

The Bahrain Sports Day will be held on February 13 with the participation of citizens, sport personalities and government and private institutions. 

The minister highlighted keenness to provide full press, radio and TV coverage for the national occasion, in addition to promote it via social media, to reflect the fraternal and friendliness feelings of the Bahraini citizens through the national celebration. 

He commended the committee’s organizational efforts and partnerships between ministries and non-governmental organizations supported by the royal leadership and Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee. 

Asker welcomed the Information Minister’s constant cooperation and his interest in underpinning the youth and sport movement.
