The Gulf Radio and Television Festival to be held on June 21-23

The Permeant Committee of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival held an extraordinary meeting virtually.

Information Affairs Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Abdulrahman Bahar chaired the meeting.

The committee discussed setting the new date for holding the 15th Gulf Radio and Television Festival after postponing it following the passing of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The festival will be held on June 21-23 next June as a new date for organizing the Gulf Radio and Television Festival, which will be hosted by Bahrain.

The meeting discussed a number of procedural and organizational issues related to the festival, including seminars and an exhibition of radio and television production.

Dr. Bahar affirmed that the ministry, under the directives of Information Minister Ali bin Mohammad Al Rumaihi, is putting all its capabilities to highlight this event, which the Kingdom is proud to host, and to work on its continuation as a link that embodies the close media cooperation between the GCC countries in its various sectors.
