Sultan bin Ali Al Khater, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Bahrain, visited the set of Al Sariya, a programme airing on Bahrain TV during Ramadhan, at the heritage village in Ras Hayyan.
Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, was present. He emphasised the ministry’s commitment to implementing the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in preserving national identity and highlighting Bahrain’s and the Gulf region’s cultural heritage and achievements.
Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted the significant support the programme receives from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, which has contributed to the programme’s continued success in showcasing Bahrain’s cultural heritage and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) traditions.
Ambassador Al Khater lauded Al Sariya for its valuable content in celebrating Gulf heritage and the cultural achievements of GCC nations. He commended the Information Ministry’s role in strengthening Gulf cultural identity and preserving traditional values for future generations. He also noted the programme’s contribution to reinforcing the historical and cultural ties between GCC countries.
The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the segments dedicated to Qatar’s heritage and achievements, wishing the programme and its organisers continued success.
