Information Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs Abdulla Khalid Al Dosari attended the 109th meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) on June 15-16, at its headquarters in Tunis, the Republic of Tunisia.
ASBU director-general Abdulrahman Suleiman updated the session about previous activities. Reports highlighting ASBU’s activities and key achievements were also discussed, including the commercial investment project associated with the ASBUHotel and the commercial complex construction project.
The delegations also discussed member states’ contributions in the fields of news, radio, sports, technology, development and the new media and reviewed the Arab and international cooperation.
The activity of the Arab Center for the Exchange of News and Programs during the previous period also came under the spotlight.
