Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, attended the closing ceremony of the training programme “Media Content Creation through Artificial Intelligence Applications”, organised by the ministry’s AI Creators Lab.
The Undersecretary emphasised that the ministry’s implementation of such programmes reflects its commitment to innovation and staying aligned with AI developments. He underlined the importance of integrating modern technologies into media and administrative work to enhance national workforce skills and support digital transformation.
Al Binkhalil highlighted the need to continue such training programmes and to familiarise participants with practical applications of AI in the workplace to improve productivity and service quality. He commended the strong participation by government entities, which reflects the growing interest in the ministry’s training initiatives.
He also expressed appreciation for the team behind the programme at the AI Creators Lab and wished the graduates success in applying the skills gained.
The three-day programme welcomed 26 participants from various government bodies, including the Ministry of Information, the Northern Governorate, the Government Hospitals, the Education and Training Quality Authority, the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, and the National Institution for Human Rights.
Led by AI Team Leader Muhannad Suleiman Al Nuaimi, the programme focused on developing skills in prompt writing for AI tools, visual and audio content generation, infographic design, data analysis, and virtual character creation. The training aimed to enhance participants’ media capabilities and equip them to apply advanced digital tools in institutional work.
