Information Affairs Undersecretary Abdulrahman
Mohammed Bahar today received the team in charge of the establishment of
the National Archive led by Archive Director General Dr. Abdullah
Mohammed Al‑Rici accompanied with CEO Majid Sultan Al‑Muhairi; Archive
Managing Director Hamad Abdullah Al‑Mutairi and Isa Cultural Center (ICC)
Advisor Fawaz Ahmed Sulaiman.
The Undersecretary lauded cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and
the United Arab Emirates in various areas. He praised the teams’ efforts to
implement the strategic national project that aims to preserve the national
gains and to contribute to the development process launched by HM King
Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He pointed out Bahrain’s cultural heritage, saying that the National Archive
will document the sacrifices made by Bahrainis for the homeland’s progress
and prosperity.
The team gave an overview of the project objectives and implementation
process.
The team appreciated the warm welcome and highlighted readiness to
cooperate with the Information Affairs Ministry in the interest of Bahrain’s
development, welcoming cooperation with the ICC in the implementation of
the National Archive project.
