Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed
Al‑Romaihi, has stressed the Information Affairs Ministry’s keenness on
enhancing its partnership with academic institution and international think
tanks to prepare national youth cadres and efficiently qualify them
scientifically, technically and professionally to develop the media message
and support the continuous development and civilisational achievements
attained during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al
Khalifa.

This came as he received here today the Chairman of the Board of Trustees
of the Bahrain Polytechnic, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, in the
presence of Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jeff Zabudsky, and Deputy CEO for
Resources and Information Affairs, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.

The minister reviewed with the delegation ways to enhance cooperation with
Bahrain Polytechnic in the fields of community service and educational and
training programmes deployment, especially in electronic media.

Al‑Romaihi lauded Bahrain Polytechnic’s pioneering contributions, since its
establishment 10 years ago, to developing higher education, providing youth
with advanced technical and professional skills in electronic media, visual
design and information and communication technology, as well as advancing
their creative potentials to enter the labour market on the bases of
excellence, innovation and competitiveness, in accordance with the Economic
Vision for Bahrain, 2030.

Bahrain Polytechnic board chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to
the minister for his constant support for Bahraini youth, as well as for his
interest in activating cooperation with national universities and colleges,
which, he said, will consolidate partnership in serving the nation to increase
its achievements and highlight them at regional and international levels.
