Manama, Oct.7: Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed the organisers of the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum and IT Expo 2018, which opened this morning, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa – Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology.
The minister described the forum as an opportunity to exchange expertise and initiatives, employ youth and hone their innovative skills in the sector of information technology and telecommunications.
“The internal and external communication relies in the world on electronic technologies which achieved landmark strides that impacted all sectors positively”, he said.
In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he said that media work is based nowadays on electronic systems that support openness and keep abreast of progress.
