Manama, Feb. 5: Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and all the Bahraini people on the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF)’s 51st anniversary.
The minister also congratulated BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and all the valiant BDF patriotic affiliates in all of its land, air and sea divisions on their loyal efforts defending the nation and safeguarding its civilizational and developmental accomplishments in partnership with their courageous brethren in the Interior Ministry and the National Guard, wishing them success in their noble mission as the protective shield of the nation and the basic pillar of its progress and prosperity march through effective contribution to elevating the health, housing and economic utilities.
The minister and president of Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) hailed the patriotic role of the BDF in defending the homeland’s sovereignty, security, stability and comprehensive sustainable development in the prosperous era of His Majesty the King.
Al Romaihi praised the BDF high moral spirits, top combat readiness, proficiency of all of its affiliates and their scientific knowledge qualification as per modern strategy the foundations of which have been laid down through His Majesty the King’s farsighted wise vision over five decades that reflected positively on the performance of the courageous, disciplined performance of the BDF forces of their faithful, patriotic and humanitarian duties on the fields of righteousness, glory and dignity to maintain the safety, serenity and prosperity of the Kingdom’s citizens along with the peoples of the Gulf and Arab countries.
The Minister of Information Affairs said it is the privilege of all the Bahraini citizens to feel proud in the impeccable historic record of the BDF on the fifty-first anniversary of its establishment and boast in its effective role of consolidating homeland security and stability and its plausible contributions in support the Arab and Muslim causes and humanitarian services, citing the BDF’s effective participation in Operation Restore Hope as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Support of the Legitimacy in Yemen as well as its cooperation with brethren and friends in consolidating the regional and global peace and combating terrorism and the provision of humanitarian and relief aid.
