The “Bahrain Choir” delivered its first performance as part of the Celebrate Bahrain Festival at the Heritage Village, in the presence of Nabeel bin Yacoub Al Hamer, Advisor to His Majesty the King for Media Affairs, and Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information. The event was also attended by ministers, officials and invited guests.
On this occasion, the Minister of Information highlighted the role of arts and culture in preserving Bahrain’s national heritage and showcasing its authentic character. He said cultural initiatives serve as an effective means of presenting Bahrain’s rich civilisational legacy to wider audiences and strengthening the link between generations.
Dr. Al Noaimi noted that national artistic projects, including the Bahrain Choir, provide an important platform for presenting Bahraini creativity in a contemporary format that can reach audiences inside and outside the Kingdom. He said such efforts reinforce Bahrain’s cultural presence regionally and internationally.
The minister added that the project aligns with the initiatives launched under “Youth City 2030” and reflects the ministry’s efforts to support national talent by providing creative platforms that enable young Bahrainis to showcase their artistic capabilities and contribute to the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic landscape. He commended the choir’s performance and its expression of national identity and pride in Bahrain’s heritage.
The Bahrain Choir is a national artistic project designed to highlight Bahrain’s cultural identity through ensemble performances that bring together emerging voices and enable them to present refined artistic work rooted in the Kingdom’s heritage.
The choir is presenting a series of debut performances at the Celebrate Bahrain Festival in the Heritage Village, offering audiences pieces inspired by both tradition and modern artistic expression, reflecting the continued presence of Bahraini heritage in the country’s creative scene.
