Abdulrahman Badah Al Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait, visited the Muharraq Nights Festival.
Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, and Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), were present.
Minister Al Mutairi noted that the festival, held along the Pearling Path inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is part of national cultural projects to showcase and preserve Bahrain’s authentic heritage, while highlighting Muharraq’s rich historical legacy and strengthening the Kingdom’s standing as a leading cultural and tourism destination through its historical and cultural assets.
He visited the festival’s key events and programmes, noting that its cultural and artistic performances highlight the distinctive character of Muharraq and reflect the richness and depth of Bahrain’s cultural identity.
Minister Al Mutairi commended the festival’s organisation, highlighting the Kingdom’s contemporary approach to preserving and presenting its cultural heritage, and noting that the event reflects the closeness of shared Gulf cultural values.
