Kuwaiti Information and Culture Minister visits Souq Al Baraha

Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait, accompanied by Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, and Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, visited Souq Al Baraha in Diyar Al Muharraq.

Minister Al Sairafi highlighted that landmark tourism projects, including Souq Al Baraha, are an important addition to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s tourism sector, offering integrated facilities and diverse experiences that enrich and diversify the tourism product. She added that the project reflects the effective partnership between the public and private sector, enhancing Bahrain’s position as a tourist destination and supporting economic growth.

On his part, Minister Al Noaimi noted that Souq Al Baraha showcases the Kingdom’s commitment to highlighting its cultural identity by investing in its unique cultural and heritage assets through modern tourism projects. He noted that these projects promote national features and advances Bahrain’s position as a leading cultural and tourist destination regionally and internationally.

Minister Al Mutairi explored Souq Al Baraha’s facilities and design, which reflect traditional Bahraini architectural aesthetics, while also offering a modern shopping experience that meets visitor needs.

The Kuwaiti Information and Culture Minister underscored that Souq Al Baraha combines cultural heritage with commercial and entertainment activities, enhancing the visitor experience and highlighting the Kingdom’s authentic national identity.
