King’s Endurance Cup media coverage hailed

Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance
Federation (BREEF) President and Deputy President of the Supreme Council
for Environment, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, has lauded the
Ministry of Information Affairs, led by Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al‑Romaihi,
particularly the Sports Channel and its staff for the tremendous efforts they
had exerted to ensure the success of HM the King’s Endurance Cup, as well
as in preparing for the event.

This year’s edition of HM the King’s Endurance Cup enjoyed a distinguished
media coverage following the directives of the Representative of HM the King
for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for
Youth and Sport (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and
BREEF Honorary President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to ensure
an outstanding coverage of the event and disseminate it to as many people
as people through the press and media outlets, HH Shaikh Faisal said.

He added that the organisers had coordinated with the Information Affairs
Ministry, Dubai Racing Channel and Yas Channel ahead of the event, which,
he said, had ensured its successful coverage, noting that the media is
essential for the success of any sports event.

HH Shaikh Faisal said that the opening of a special studio at the Bahrain
Endurance Village represented a quantum leap in the history of endurance
sport in the kingdom, as it hosted BREEF officials, organising committee
members, trainers and riders to talk about the prestigious event, which, he
noted, increased the level of excitement and competition, on the one hand,
and contributed to promoting the endurance sport culture, on the other.

He stressed that the Analysis Studio will contribute to promoting the
endurance sport, as it will discuss the preparations of the stables and riders
for the upcoming competitions.
