The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with the Minister of Information, HE Dr Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Nuaimi, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of advancing Bahrain’s media sector in line with its comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness highlighted the media’s role in supporting development policies and programmes that benefit the Kingdom and its citizens.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was briefed on the National Communication Center’s (NCC) plans and efforts to enhance the government’s communication system according to desired development aspirations.
His Royal Highness also urged NCC officials to double their efforts to keep pace with communication developments and enhance communication with local, regional, and international media outlets.
His Royal Highness then wished Ahmed Khalid Al Araifi further success in his duties as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the NCC.
For his part, HE Dr Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Nuaimi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and for HRH’s support in government communication programmes.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
