The Ministry of Information Affairs won two awards
at the 19th edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival concluded
yesterday in the City of Culture, Tunisian. The Arab States Broadcasting
Union (ASBU) organized the event on 26‑29 April 2018.
Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs, Abdullah Khalid
Al‑Dossary, took pride in honouring the Bahraini media, which accentuates
its development and awareness mission in line with the directives of
Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al‑Romaihi to disseminate
noble values and discussing national issues objectively and transparently to
achieve the national interests in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin
Isa Al Khalifa.
He extended thanks to the national media cadres who participated in the
radio and TV programmes competed in the festival for fulfilling their national
duties.
