Information Minister voices support to Saudi Arabia

Manama, Oct.16: Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi stressed Bahrain’s stance, along with Arab and Islamic states and peoples, in support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

In a statement to London-based Al-Hayat newspaper, he voiced pan-Arab and Islamic solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting suspicious campaigns and conspiracies, targeting its sovereignty and pivotal standing as the cornerstone of security, stability and economic progress in the region and the world.

The minister, also chairman of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) Board of Trustees, affirmed pan-Arab and Islamic unflinching support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leadership and people, stressing deep-rooted fraternal and historical relations and common destiny.

He hailed the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in leading the nation, advocating its just causes, being the pillar of the Arab nation and cornerstone of moderate Islam.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will remain, through its initiatives to support peace and combat extremism and terrorism, stronger than any hostile campaign, being orchestrated in an attempt to target its standing in the world”, he said.

He described the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a towering fortress, hailing its religious, historical and civilizational symbolism, pro-Arab stances and landmark service to humanity.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he said, will always remain stronger than ever to foil petty designs and attempts to target its security, stability and standing, hailing its spiritual status and resolve to continue its development and mega investment projects.
