Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed the pioneering initiatives launched by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa in support of Bahraini youth to hone their skills and build their capabilities to achieve more national gains.
“HH Shaikh Khalid’s initiatives stem from the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to invest in youth and provide them the opportunity to work and contribute actively to their society, being the cornerstone of development and progress”, he said.
The minister hailed the initiative Your Talent At Home”, which was launched recently by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, among other initiatives, which aim to ensure all people’s safety and compliance with the mandatory social distancing protocols and and contribute to combating COVID-19, in line with the precautionary measures undertaken by the Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
He stressed the importance of the goals of the initiative, which aims to tap into youth talents and channel their energy through new platforms that promote competition, aimed to build a generation which has a wealth of knowledge and culture and contribute actively to the development and progress of their society.
He announced that the Ministry of Information Affairs would mobilise all its capabilities to ensure the success of the initiative, by providing media coverage and allocating a well-equipped studio to air the final phase of the contest, wishing the organizing committee every success.
