Information Minister: Saudi Cabinet’s decision reflects specific nature of bilateral relations

Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has lauded the Saudi Cabinet’s decision to raise the level of the chairmanship of the Coordination Council to the crown princes of the two countries.

The minister stressed that the move reflects the depth of the two sisterly kingdoms’ coordination on various stances, issues and challenges, in line with the belief of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud in the specific nature of bilateral relations, noting that the fraternal Bahraini-Saudi ties are unique and exemplary at the GCC, Arab and Islamic levels.

He said that raising the level of the chairmanship of the Coordination Council to the crown princes confirms the specificity of the Bahraini-Saudi relations, and the importance of developing them in a way that achieves the aspirations of HM King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The minister added that the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Council and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, will augur a new phase of bilateral cooperation that will broaden the fields and sectors of coordination, given the wisdom of the two crown princes in managing the economic and development issues in the two countries, as well as their adoption of various successful models and strategies that have yielded multiple achievements, and enabled the two kingdoms to overcome challenges.

Al-Romaihi praised the ongoing Bahraini-Saudi cooperation in the media fields, across various platforms, which, he said, has contributed to highlighting the distinguished level of the two kingdoms’ brotherly relations.

He expressed hope that the two countries will continue strengthening their cooperation, and coordinating their stances in order to meet their aspirations.
