The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Information Affairs (MIA) held its fourth meeting in 2022, chaired by Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television and Chairman of the Committee, Abdullah Khalid Al Dossari.
A number of initiatives and proposals related to the committee’s tasks and objectives in increasing opportunities for working women were reviewed.
The meeting discussed the ministry’s plan to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day in cooperation with The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) in order to achieve the initiatives aimed at increasing women’s contributions in all aspects of community development.
