Information Minister visits national days festival at Heritage Village

As part of Bahrain’s festivities to mark its national days, in commemoration of the establishment of the Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783 and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Alnoaimi, paid a visit to the Information Ministry’s festival at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayan, in the Southern Governorate.

His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Media Affairs, Nabeel bin Yaqoob Al Hamer was also present.

The Minister of Information extended most sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Bahraini people, wishing the kingdom many happy returns and further growth and prosperity. He said that Bahrain has been able to lay the bases of an inspirational development model that gained regional and international praise.

The minister said the festival reflects the ministry’s keenness to celebrate the national days and shed light on Bahrain’s achievements in order to further cement the values of belonging and patriotism mainly among youngsters by informing them about the kingdom’s unprecedented development under the wise leadership of HM the King.

The Minister of Information expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the organisers of the festival for their tireless efforts and keenness to include artistic and recreational functions that suit the national occasion.

The Minister of Information and HM the King’s Advisor for Media Affairs toured the Heritage Village and got informed about the functions that embody an essential part of the inherent Bahraini identity.
