Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, received Moanes Mahmood Al Mardi, the outgoing Editor-in-Chief of Al Bilad newspaper.
Dr. Al Noaimi commended Al Mardi’s distinguished career, noting his significant contributions to Bahraini journalism and the role of the press in supporting the goals of the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister also highlighted Al Mardi’s dedicated efforts throughout his career, including his leadership as Editor-in-Chief of Al Bilad and his previous terms as head of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA).
For his part, Al Mardi highlighted the role of the Ministry of Information in supporting media institutions and providing an environment that encourages the development of the media sector in line with Bahrain’s development and progress.
