Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, attended the opening of the Saudi Media Forum 2026 in Riyadh, held in its fifth edition under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the theme “Media in an Evolving World”.
Dr. Al Noaimi said that such media gatherings provide an important platform to review and discuss the latest developments in the media sector, especially in light of rapid technological advancements, changes in content creation, the use of artificial intelligence applications, and changing audience patterns. He underlined the importance of using these changes to enhance media professionalism, reinforce the role of the media in conveying responsible messages, building societal awareness, and strengthening national and humanitarian values.
On the sidelines of the forum, the information Minister met with Salman Al Dossary, Minister of Media of Saudi Arabia. They reviewed means to enhance bilateral cooperation and improve levels of joint coordination in various media domains, in a way that serves the visions of the leadership of the two countries and the aspirations of their peoples.
Dr. Al Noaimi commended the efforts made by Saudi Arabia in organising and hosting this event, noting that the forum sessions and the accompanying exhibition included important, vital and diverse topics in the domains of media and communication. He said the event served as a platform to exchange experiences and enhance media cooperation between participating entities.
The information Minister also met with Dr. Mohammad Momani, Minister of Government Communication and Official Spokesperson of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. They underscored the longstanding relations between the two countries, and their shared commitment to further developing them in all domains, especially in the media sector. They also discussed means to support bilateral cooperation and improve levels of joint coordination to achieve shared goals and aspirations.
