Information Affairs Undersecretary Abdulrahman
	Bahar, accompanied with Gulf Radio and TV Corporation Director General
	Majri Al‑Qahtani, today attended the conclusion of a training course titled
	(News Reading Skills). 
	The course was staged in cooperation between the Information Affairs
	Ministry and Gulf Radio and TV Corporation. 
	The undersecretary said the training course is within the ministry’s strategy to
	raise efficiency and performance of Bahrain’s TV newscasters and
	programmes presenters. 
	He pointed out the interest of Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al‑Romaihi in
	honing the newscasters and presenters’ media skills to take them to higher
	level of precision through providing them with theoretical and practical skills
	required to shape up their media personality.
	He attached great significance to training as a key factor in developing media
	cadre skills, stressing the importance of investing in the national human
	resources. 
	The training course focused on practical trainings, including correct breathing
	techniques; voice; diction; dealing with the camera; importance of body
	language in communicating with viewers; verbal and nonverbal
	communication; presentation; interviewing and initiating a discussion. 
	The participants expressed appreciation of the ministry’s constant efforts to
	improve their media skills.
