Information Minister hails HRH the Crown Prince’s message

Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed the keynote speech which was delivered by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister as he chaired the weekly Cabinet, which was held via videoconference.

In a statement to Bahrain Television, he quoted HRH the Crown Prince who paid homage to late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, highlighting his landmark contributions up to the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

He described the keynote address as a homage through which HRH the Crown and Prime Minister recalled the work meeting with the deceased over fifteen years, working closely together since 2013, when HRH the Crown Prince was named First Deputy Prime Minister.

He paid tribute to HRH the Crown Prince who extended thanks to all those who worked with late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa during his prolific march.

The minister praised HRH the Crown Prince’s firm belief in the spirit of one-team work, in line with HM the King’s directives, stressing collective responsibility to continue national work.

He quoted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister who stressed the need for Government work to be responsive and serve citizens, in addition to enhancing competitiveness, creating opportunities and incorporating modern technologies.

He lauded the keynote speech in which HRH the Crown Prince stressed the need to promote transparency, combat corruption, protect public money, being one of the key pillars of nation development, led by HM the King.

He highlighted in this regard the Tender Board, the National Audit Office, which were established since the promulgation of their laws in 2002, followed up by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He commended HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s keenness on consolidating cooperation with the Legislative Branch of Government and promotion the values of moderation and tolerance to protect national unity, in addition to empowering youth and women.

He quoted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s insistence on the importance of the economy and partnership[ with the private sector to support efforts to achieve recovery and spur growth.

He also quoted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister which extended thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait for their historical stances and unwavering support to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He noted that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister had praised the determination of the people of Bahrain to rise up to challenges, paying tribute to national cadres who stand in the frontline, combating the novel coronavirus competently.

“HRH The Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s speech holds us all responsible as officials in providing service and as citizens by preserving our national unity and facing all challenges as one team under the leadership of His Majesty”, he said.
