Information Minister hails HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s initiatives

Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed the outstanding initiatives spearheaded by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.

In a statement today, the minister commended HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s relentless efforts to create favourable grounds for all people to showcase their capabilities in all fields, which contributes to supporting national development.

He praised the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to launch the Quiz Show (seenjeem), as part of other drives aimed to support Bahraini families, instill competitiveness and excellence and diversify the sources of knowledge and general culture among the participants.

“This initiative has social dimensions His Highness was keen to achieve, by supporting the bonds of love and brotherhood among the participating families”, he said, stressing HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s directive to involve people of determination with their families in this programme, thus reflecting his keenness to continue efforts to support this distinguished group, and to enhance their true interaction and integration in the community

Al-Romaihi reiterated the ministry’s keenness to support HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s initiatives, adding that all capabilities would be provided to ensure the success of the Quiz Show (seenjeem) programme.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has launched the initiative, marking the national days and allocated $100,000 for the winner of the Quiz Show.

The ministry announced that Bahrain TV Channel will start airing the 12-episode Quiz Show from December 5 to 16.as part of national festivities.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s Media Office has set up a work team to oversee the competition, in addition to an e-platform for teams to register on www.seenjeem.tv. Registration will conclude on the 26th of November.
