Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has lauded the dedicated patriotic efforts and the honourable sacrifices made by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) to safeguard security, peace and stability.
Al-Romaihi also praised the BDF’s effective role as a main pillar for building the nation, and enhancing its progress, in light of the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister.
The minister extended deepest congratulations to HM the King and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister marking the BDF’s 53rd anniversary, expressing his pride and that of all Bahrainis in the advanced level reached by the BDF and its brave soldiers, as well as in their professionalism in carrying out their sacred patriotic duties with resolve, patriotic spirit and high competence for the sake of safeguarding the kingdom’s stability and integrity, in addition to defending regional and global security, in partnership with the military forces of brotherly and friendly countries.
Al-Romaihi paid tribute to the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, all BDF’s servicemen, in addition to land, air and naval units for their dedication in defending the kingdom’s boundaries, security, independence and sovereignty, consolidating the noble humanitarian values and championing religion, as well as GCC, Arab and Islamic fraternity.
He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the kingdom’s fallen servicemen who had sacrificed their lives while defending the nation at the fields of Right, glory and dignity.
The minister praised the honourable presence of the BDF in the frontlines of Team Bahrain, led by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, hailing the BDF’s noble humanitarian contributions to the kingdom’s fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic, through harnessing all its technical potentials, modern medical institutions and specialised competencies. In this regard, he commended the professional performance of the operation rooms of the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research, the field Intensive Care Unit at the Military Hospital, the King Hamad University Hospital, among others. All these state-of-the-art facilities delivered the necessary assistance to the national efforts aimed at preserving public health and safety, while undertaking the military duties entrusted to them, at the same time.
Al-Romaihi affirmed that thanks to the forward-looking vision of HM the King, the Supreme Commander, the BDF has reached the highest military levels of technical, armament, scientific and administrative preparedness.
He stressed that the BDF will always remain the protective shield of the development and civilisational achievements of the “Kingdom of Love and Tolerance”, as well as a bulwark against the forces of darkness, terrorism and external conspiracies.
It will also continue achieving glory and heroism while defending the Islamic Religion, and the constitutional fundamentals, as well as consolidating the values of goodness, peace and the pillars of progress and prosperity across brotherly Arab and Islamic countries, and the entire world, he added.
