Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi, received Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jafar Al-Sairafi, at the Information Ministry’s Heritage Village, in Ras Hayan region.
They toured the village and got informed about its buildings and heritage details that reflect different phases of Bahrain’s history.
The two ministers discussed coordination between the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Tourism to benefit from the Heritage Village and set up joint projects to serve the media and tourism sectors in Bahrain. They also affirmed the importance of joint investment in the Heritage Village to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain and attract tourists by diversifying functions and increasing the work periods.
Both sides also discussed the possibility of transforming the Heritage Village into a tourist attraction in line with the kingdom’s strategy to serve the tourism sector.
