Information Minister conveys greetings from HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to Egyptian President

Egyptian President Abdulfattah El Sisi received at Al-Ittihadiya Palace the Arab Ministers of Information on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Arab Information Ministers’ Council.

President El Sisi stressed the strategic role of the media in supporting countries’ efforts to achieve stability and development by raising national issues and enhancing people’s awareness.

The Egyptian leader noted the challenges facing the Arab world, stressing the need for the Arab media to address issues in depth and objectively, substantiated by facts.

With regard to combating extremist ideology, hate speech and incitement against Arab peoples, he said the the message of religion is construction, peace and development, stressing the importance of providing security and political and moral stability.

For his part, Information Affairs Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi conveyed to President El Sisi greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the Arab Republic of Egypt further progress and prosperity.

He stressed the importance of the meeting with President El Sisi, in raising many issues related to media work, which reflected the Egyptian leader’s keenness to develop this important sector and enhance joint Arab media work on various media platforms.

Dr. Alnoaimi hailed the ideas outlined by the Egyptian President, which contributes to the consolidation of the national culture and the pan-Arab identity in various media platforms.
