Information Minister opens Collective Hub’s Digital Conference

Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, opened on Tuesday the Collective Hub’s Digital Conference and Pop-up fair held under his patronage.

The event brought together a number of tech experts and specialists, as well a participants from the “All Things Media” training programme.

In his opening speech, the minister affirmed the importance of the role played by the media in consolidating the national identity and highlighting development efforts led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister also noted the efforts that have strengthened Bahrain’s positioning in the advancement of entrepreneurship across various sectors, including in the IT sector, which has seen significant growth.

He emphasised the importance of the two-day conference in meeting and listening to the youth’s ideas and aspirations.

Al Noaimi honoured the participants, sponsors, and contributors , and expressed his appreciation to Suhail Ghazi Algosaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tenmou, and Nawaf Al Kooheji, CEO of Tenmou, for launching such initiatives and supporting young talent.

The conference’s organisers thanked the minister for supporting the event which seeks to contribute to the development of skills of Bahraini youth, which comes in line with Bahrain’s efforts of empowering national competencies in various sectors.
