Information Minister: Bahraini women are key partners in Bahrain’s development journey

Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, commended the achievements and progress of Bahraini women across all domains under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He noted that this support has enabled Bahraini women to demonstrate their skills, take on responsibilities in various sectors, and become key partners in the development journey that started 25 years ago under HM the King’s leadership.

The minister underscored the dedication of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW, to advancing national objectives for women and promoting their involvement across all sectors.

He highlighted that this support has empowered Bahraini women to showcase their abilities, take on responsibilities across sectors, and become key partners in the development journey initiated 25 years ago with HM the King’s accession to the throne.

Dr. Al Noaimi emphasised that Bahrain’s progress, led by His Majesty the King, has established a strong foundation for women’s involvement in national development through the National Action Charter and the Constitution. These legal and constitutional advances have reinforced equal opportunities and enabled women to play an role in Bahrain’s progress.

The minister also highlighted the importance of celebrating Bahraini women’s achievements across various domains, particularly their notable presence in the media sector, where they contribute significantly to the development of the industry. He underscored the Ministry of Information’s commitment to supporting female talent and providing opportunities to enhance their presence in the media landscape.

Dr. Al Noaimi emphasised that the celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day is an opportunity to renew its commitment to supporting women while recognising their contributions and achievements.
