The programme focused on equipping Ministry of Interior personnel with skills to leverage AI in media production and public communication.

Dr. Al Noaimi underscored the programme’s alignment with Bahrain’s vision for digital transformation, driven by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasised the importance of integrating AI into government services to enhance efficiency, foster innovation, and strengthen institutional capabilities.

The minister highlighted AI as a key enabler for creativity and operational excellence, stressing the need to prepare national talent to adapt to rapid technological advancements. He also praised the collaboration between the Ministries of Information and Interior, describing it as a model for inter-agency cooperation to enhance technical and media capabilities.

A key outcome of the programme was the launch of “Sahm,” a virtual AI-powered journalist developed by participants to deliver accurate and impactful security-related content. This initiative reflects Bahrain’s commitment to leveraging technology for innovation in media and public service.

Major-General Mohammed Bin Daina, Director-General of Media and Security Culture, praised the programme for enhancing professional standards in security communications. He highlighted the role of AI in improving content creation, analysis, and public engagement, ensuring more effective messaging across platforms.
