Information Minister holds talks with Saudi counterpart

Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, held talks with Salman bin Yousef Al Dosari, Minister of Media of Saudi Arabia.

The discussions focused on enhancing media cooperation between the two kingdoms and topics on the agenda of the fourth meeting of the Coordination Committee on Culture, Media, Tourism, and Social Development, established under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, currently hosted by Bahrain.

Both ministers highlighted the deep historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, rooted in strong foundations of mutual respect and close kinship. They commended the continuous development in bilateral cooperation, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

They also commended the achievements of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. They emphasised their commitment to developing the council’s role in advancing joint objectives for the benefit of both kingdoms.

Both ministers underscored the media’s role in showcasing national development and progress and the need to leverage its influence to highlight the achievements of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Following the talks, Al Dosari toured a special exhibition on the two kingdoms and how media documents their historic ties, showcasing the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He also visited the main news studio, where he was briefed on the latest media technologies used in news broadcasting and production.

The Saudi minister expressed admiration for Bahrain’s advanced media infrastructure, reflecting the country’s broader development progress. He emphasised his commitment to enhancing joint media cooperation and coordination to deliver a unified media message that reflects the strong ties between both kingdoms.
