A batch of 100 university graduates will take part in a professional media training programme.
The Ministry of Information Affairs is organising the scheme in partnership with the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”.
The programme is part of the ministry-tailored plans to hone the skills of a new generation of competent and talented media staff.
In statement issued today, the ministry announced that registration would run until Thursday (June 22) on its portal mia.gov.bh.
A batch of 100 candidates would then be selected to join the six-month specialised training programme, based on technical, professional and academic criteria set by the jury.
Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi signed an agreement last April with Tamkeen Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa to launch the specialised training programme.
