Minister of Information, Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi, extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being awarded the Legion of Merit, Degree of Chief Commander, by US President, Donald J. Trump, in tribute for HM’s role in fostering peace and tolerance and promoting regional and international security and stability.
The Information Minister expressed pride in the well-deserved high profile legion from the US President which reflects historical, strategic and growing partnership between the two friendly countries. He described the prestigious honor as a new international recognition of the leading and proactive role of HM the King to foster just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, promote security and prosperity in the region and the whole world and boost peaceful coexistence and dialogue between civilisations, cultures and religions.
Al Romaihi voiced the kingdom’s resolve to continue promoting its honorable presence as an oasis of tolerance and civilizational rapprochement, thanks to the humanitarian and diplomatic approach of HM the King as well as the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Information Minister underscored the kingdom’s keenness on enhancing its proactive role in supporting the regional and international efforts to fight extremism and terrorism, promote regional and international peace and security, boost understanding between cultures and civilisations and serve humanity.
