Information Minister hails HM King’s keynote speech at Jeddah Summit

Information Affairs Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdalla Alnoaimi hailed the keynote speech which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa at the Jeddah Security and Development Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He commended the royal address which reflected Bahrain’s firm stances, led by HM the King, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding security, stability and development in the Middle East and the world.

“HM the King’s speech embodied his vision adopted jesty regarding the necessity of international cooperation, solidarity and joint coordination as important tools to confront various challenges and achieve the aspirations of countries and peoples on the path of peace, development and prosperity”, he said,

He described the keynote address as a road map to consolidate the pillars of peace and development in the region and the world, voicing strong and courageous stances, which express Bahrain’s civilized approach, and its foreign policy, based on the values of international cooperation, and the refusal to interfere in the internal affairs of countries.

He noted HM the King’s call on the international community to work seriously to confront the dangers facing humanity, which represent a real threat to its present and future, particularly weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, fanaticism and its outlaw extremist organizations.

He underscored the importance of uniting efforts to confront these threats in a radical way, so that the world enjoys security and prosperity.

Dr. Alnoaimi noted that HM the King focused in his keynote speech on respecting countries’ sovereignty, religious and cultural values, respect of others, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

He stressed the importance of noble humanitarian values which represent the cornerstone of collective work and relations between countries and peoples for a better future for humanity.

He commended the dedicated efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the Support of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, to host the summit which provided an opportunity to bolster cooperation and coordination between countries taking part in the meeting and reach common parameters that serve regional and global development, security and stability.
