Information Minister, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al-Noaimi, today visited several radio and television studios, as well as the Heritage Village.
The minister met those in charge of the programmes broadcast on Bahrain radio stations and television channels during the holy month of Ramadan.
He praised the distinguished content of the Ramadan radio and television programmes, noting that they are diverse and suitable for all tastes, reflecting the authentic Bahraini character and the spiritual atmosphere prevailing during this holy month.
He also asserted that the package of Ramadan programmes carries national, social, cultural and religious messages, highlighting the diversity and solidarity of the Bahraini society.
During the visits, Minister Al-Noaimi was briefed about the work mechanisms, equipment and various capabilities of the radio and television studios, praising the efficiency of the studios’ staff in dealing with various modern technologies that contribute to improving the quality levels of the radio and television work.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the national competencies and all those working in the studios of the Bahrain Radio and Television.
He congratulated all those responsible for the Ramadan radio and television programmes on their success and the great public interaction with them, praising the distinguished level of the media content of this year’s Ramadan programmes, citing their creative and innovative ideas emanating from Bahrain’s authentic culture, heritage and identity.
Dr. Al-Noaimi affirmed the Information Ministry’s keenness to share all national and religious occasions with the Bahraini society, which embodies its value and presence in the conscience of society, through the programmes it offers to foster the noble values and goals of these events.
