The Information Ministry has congratulated Radio Bahrain on winning the Gold Distinction Award at the 2024 Rebrand 100 Global Awards in New York.
The international award confirms the pioneering status reached by Bahrain’s national media, in general, and radio, in particular, in recognition of the ongoing efforts to provide a distinguished and advanced content that keeps pace with the latest international radio systems, regarding content quality and the modern technologies used, the Ministry said.
The Information Ministry affirmed that the prestigious award is a global recognition of the series of successes achieved by the national media in Bahrain, in light of the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as well as the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, putting in place all requirements for the media sector to excel and carry out its mission of enlightening society at all levels.
The Ministry of Information expressed pride in Radio Bahrain’s success in clinching the global award, stressing that it is a new milestone that adds to the national media’s rich record.
The Ministry also indicated that the international honour testifies to the success of its plans to develop the media sector, wishing Radio Bahrain and its national competencies continued success.
The Information Ministry affirmed that it would continue implementing plans and strategies aimed at further advancing the media in a way that meets the lofty royal aspirations and supports the impact of this vital sector in society.
It is worth noting that the Rebrand 100 Global Awards are the world’s most respected awards in the field of rebranding, with participation by leading global branding agencies. Rebrand 100 recognised Radio Bahrain’s brand excellence in a highly competitive contest of some of the best rebrands from around the world. Rebrand 100 runs every two years and only selects the top 100 rebrands worldwide.
This honour celebrates Radio Bahrain’s brand transformation created in partnership with leading strategic branding consultancy Unisono. The award builds on the three Gold and Bronze awards Radio Bahrain’s new brand has already won at Transform Awards MEA 2023.
