Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Informational Minister, National Communication Centre (NCC) Board of Directors Chairman, today chaired NCC’s regular board meeting.
The NCC Board of Directors extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of HM’s Accession to the Throne, stressing that the kingdom has made quantum leaps across various fields during HM the King’s prosperous era, placing Bahrain among developed countries.
The panel affirmed that His Majesty’s sound directives and lofty initiatives represented a roadmap for the kingdom’s comprehensive development process, covering all fields of national action, thanks to the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as reflected in the multi-sector projects and programmes that have strengthened the kingdom’s regional and global standing.
The NCC Board of Directors reviewed the ongoing media preparations for the kingdom’s hosting of the Arab Summit 2024, noting that the high-level pan-Arab meeting embodies the approach adopted by Bahrain, under HM the King’s leadership, in consolidating joint Arab action to achieve the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples for more security, stability and progress.
The upcoming Arab Summit reflects the kingdom’s ongoing endeavours to enhance joint Arab action, entitling it to be designated the “Capital of Arab Media 2024” well deservedly, the panel said.
The board also reviewed the NCC’s work during the first quarter of 2024, as well as its action plan for the coming period.
NCC re-structuring and joint communication services were also reviewed.
