Information Minister receives evaluation committee of “Outside the Box” initiative

Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, underlined the ministry’s keenness to go ahead with developing the visual content on all platforms through the creation of a “media creativity bank” in order to enable the national media to highlight the kingdom’s achievements in various fields.

He was speaking as he received today members of the evaluation committee of the creative ideas initiative “Outside the Box” who submitted to him the final evaluation of 192 ideas presented by 92 Information Ministry employees in various fields.

The Minister of Information praised the committee which comprised national media competencies from outside the ministry and support work teams from the ministry. He commended the efforts made over three months to evaluate the ideas professionally and according to academic criteria.

The minister asserted that the “Outside the Box” initiative is considered one of the initiatives of the “Creators Lab” which was launched by the ministry to tap on the creativity potentials of the ministry affiliates and benefit from their experiences.

The Minister of Information said that the final results of the evaluation will receive the interest and support of all the departments and committees that are concerned with developing the visual content.

The evaluation committee of the “Outside the Box” initiative comprised in its membership the national media competencies Moenis Al-Mardi, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sayed, Dr. Maha Al-Rashid, Imen Marhoun, Khalid Al-Ruwaiei, Khalil Al-Rumaithi, Ines Yaqoob, Mohammed Al-Mahmid, Rashid Al-Hamer, Osama Al-Seef, Hashim Sharaf and Ahmed Bujiri.
